I'm working some ideas for an story where I'd like to include a family with their children in holidays time, maybe summer, christmas,.... I think it's very interesting the relationships among the different family members: mum, dad, the aunt, cousins,...and how the children discover new things.
Well, I have started with some rough drawings about children and mummy. Sometimes, this visual brainstorming helps to know which direction to take.

When I was a teenager I read Tolkien's "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings" fervently...as many other people I imagine.. Recently, with the excuse of the next movie about The hobbit book I started to do different rough drawings; I had curiosity about what was my idea about that...this is a sample.



"Little red riding hood" sketches. I'm preparing some personal versions about different classic tales. I'm very excited with this, because the tales were written in the past (Andersen or Grimm Brothers' works for instance) have a very interesting dramatic and tragic feelingsand situations for an illustrator. You can develop others aspects, maybe not very commercial but more human, therefore maybe more artistic...




Sketches for "Treasure Island" book cover and character. I am a serious fan of Howard Pyle work; unfortunately my works doesn't have his purity, but I try to be honest. I have read and enjoyed classic adventure books and I fancy to give my visual idea about that...



Characters study for a story written by Suzanne Jones. Suzanne is a sensitive writer, and I tried to give to the characters some of her magic...the main characters were a cute little girl with her pony.
